Subject: Ongoing Dog Waste Issue

To Dog Owners,

Just a friendly reminder to please clean up after your dogs along the sidewalk that runs along the top of the ravine behind Butchart Drive.

This trail is well-used and appreciated by many in the community. Unfortunately, it’s become increasingly unpleasant to see the amount of dog waste left behind on the sidewalks. This isn’t wildlife—it’s clearly from pets—and no one wants to walk through it.

Please be considerate of others and help keep our shared spaces clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.

Thank you for your attention and cooperation.

Subject: Concern Regarding Damage from Recent Snow Removal – Brookview Area

While walking in the residential area south of the Brookview Community Hall, crossing Buchanan Road and continuing along the sidewalk behind the houses, I was struck by the extent of the damage caused by snow removal during the most recent major snowfall a couple of weeks ago.

The damage to the grass is quite significant; however, what’s more concerning is the visible damage of the concrete. It’s truly surprising how much damage has occurred from a single snow event.

Given the severity, it may be worth reviewing the snow removal process and the equipment being used. The level of damage observed is not typical and, if left unaddressed, could result in costly repairs.
