There are too many people that feel they are privileged and more important than everyone.  They  forgot to care about anyone else except themselves.   Respect for others seems to be lost. Dangerous drivers hurt everyone.

I can not agree more!  What is sad however is to hear it is our own residents that are violating the law.  For years I have seen people cut through our neighbourhood to get to Terwillegar drive and often with no regard to the speed limit or the park zone.  Most recently I have been woken up during the night or early morning with vehicles speeding by our home on burley drive!
I am thankful my children are older and my dogs are always on a leash.

Deeply concerned neighbour!

I too see drivers going right through the 4 way stop on a weekly basis!!!!
So dangerous right at a school!

Not to defend the poor choice this AM, but people DO NOT allow Burton RD drivers to turn. They constantly block the intersection, which is sometimes the only opportunity to turn right. This lack of courtesy leads people to not fully stop and try to make the right turn before they are cut off. Do not get me started on letting ETS and school buses to turn there. So courtesy goes both ways.
And if we are going there, how about understanding that vehicles can turn right on the red to get on Terwillegar. Sometimes we sit, while someone waits for the green light. If everyone worked together, it would be a better and safer drive.

We need more enforcement during peak hours as I encounter this all the time at Buchanan 4 way and all the way on bulyea to enter to whitemud.  It will never change.

The Crier Announcement System was created to make residents aware of issues that concern all of the surrounding areas of Riverbend/Terwillegar/Windermere.   Issues include crime awareness and community announcements and any other news worthy items, as well as allow the residents express their concerns and opinions about matters that are important to the general community. The Crier concept is based on the idea of the old town crier of medieval England.  The town crier would walk the streets ringing his bell, shouting "Hear Ye, hear Ye",  followed by an important community announcement.  The Crier is the property of and controlled solely by resident Harold Hornig.

Please tell your neighbours about this group and have them join.
